Solar across Arizona, city by city

We are a local crew, and we work where the sun and the rate hikes both land, all over the state: across the Valley and down to Tucson. Find your city to see the local angle, your utility, and what going solar looks like on your block.

One state, three utilities, a lot of sun

Most of the West Valley and central Phoenix runs on APS. Much of the East Valley runs on SRP. Down in Tucson it is TEP. The three price power differently and raise rates on their own schedules, so the smart way to size a system changes depending on who serves your block. We design around your actual plan, not a template.

Not sure who serves you? Start with your utility's rate page, run your bill through the calculator, or just see what's happening with Arizona rates.

Pick your city

Each city page covers the local angle, the utility serving it, and what we install there.

Phoenix

The Valley anchor. High summer cooling loads and rising APS rates make Phoenix rooftops some of the best solar candidates in the country.

APS Solar in Phoenix

Mesa

Arizona's third-largest city, served mostly by SRP. Big lots and big roofs mean room for systems sized to cover the whole bill.

SRP Solar in Mesa

Glendale

West Valley homeowners on APS rate plans looking to lock in their cost of power before the next increase.

APS Solar in Glendale

Tempe

Dense, sun-soaked, and mostly on SRP. Solar plus a smart rate plan can reshape a Tempe summer bill.

SRP Solar in Tempe

Scottsdale

Larger homes and larger bills. Scottsdale roofs pair well with battery storage for whole-home backup.

APS Solar in Scottsdale

Gilbert

Fast-growing Southeast Valley town on SRP, with newer homes well suited to a clean panel array.

SRP Solar in Gilbert

Chandler

Tech-corridor suburb on SRP. Homeowners here run the numbers carefully, and solar usually wins.

SRP Solar in Chandler

Peoria

West Valley community on APS. Strong south-facing roofs and rising rates make the case for going solar.

APS Solar in Peoria

Surprise

Northwest Valley growth area on APS, with plenty of newer rooftops ready for panels.

APS Solar in Surprise

Goodyear

Southwest Valley homeowners on APS looking to get ahead of summer cooling costs.

Avondale

West Valley city on APS where solar offsets some of the highest summer cooling loads in the metro.

APS Solar in Avondale

Queen Creek

Southeast Valley town on SRP, with large new-build roofs ideal for full-coverage solar systems.

SRP Solar in Queen Creek

Tucson

Southern Arizona, served by TEP instead of APS or SRP. Tucson gets even more sun than the Valley, and TEP prices and credits solar its own way, so a system here gets sized around TEP, not Phoenix.
