A solar system sized to your home, not a sales quota
Most of the cost of going solar is the system you buy, so getting the size right matters more than anything. We design from your real usage, install clean, and handle the permits. You end up owning your daytime power instead of renting all of it from the utility.
The problem with most quotes
A lot of solar quotes are built to hit a number, not to fit your house. Oversize the system and you pay for panels you'll never use. Undersize it and you're still buying expensive power from APS or SRP every month. Either way you lose, and you usually don't find out until the bills come.
How we do it instead
We start with your last twelve months of usage and design backward from there. A home that runs the AC hard from May to September needs a different system than one that doesn't. We show you the production estimate for your actual roof, with its real orientation and shading, before you commit. If the math doesn't work, we say so.
What the install looks like
- Assessment. Bill, roof, usage, utility. Free, and honest about whether solar fits.
- Design. A system sized to your usage, with a production and savings estimate for your address.
- Permitting. We pull the city permit and file the interconnection with APS or SRP.
- Install. Usually a day or two on the roof, every penetration flashed properly.
- Turn-on and monitoring. Once the utility signs off, you're producing, and we watch the output.
Keep going
- Estimate your savings from your current bill.
- See the APS rate increase or the SRP rate increase for your utility.
- Installing in Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, or elsewhere in Arizona.
- Thinking about backup power too? See battery storage.
- Wondering how to pay for it? See solar financing.
About the install
How long does a solar panel installation take?
The rooftop work is usually a day or two. The longer part is permitting and the utility interconnection, which vary by city and by whether you are on APS or SRP. We give you a realistic timeline for your address before you sign anything.
What size system will my home need?
We size to your actual usage from your past bills, not a template. A home that runs the AC hard all summer needs more than one that does not. The free assessment is where we work out the right size for your roof and your habits.
Will the panels damage my roof?
A proper install does not. We check roof age and condition first, flash every penetration, and if your roof is near the end of its life we tell you to handle that before we mount anything. Putting panels on a roof that needs replacing in two years helps nobody.
Do you handle the permits and utility paperwork?
Yes. We pull the city permit and file the interconnection application with your utility. You should not have to chase paperwork to get your own solar turned on.
